FedEx, an official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, teamed up with European football legend, Andrés Iniesta, to surprise and delight fans at the UEFA Champions Festival in Olympiapark München. Together, they presented a spectacular Walk of Champions parade celebration to welcome the UEFA Champions League trophy to the host city, ahead of the world’s most watched club football final.
Iniesta celebrated former Spanish midfielder, led the parade alongside a chosen FedEx courier, accompanied by the vibrant sounds of the renowned German brass band, Knallblech. The Walk of Champions featured a mix of deserving communities, charities and organisations, as well as local FedEx employees and their families.
The communities, including International Football Club of Bern, DFI Football Academy and UEFA Foundation for Children’s partner charity, SCORING GIRLS* all taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime moment at the UEFA Champions Festival, walking alongside European football royalty.
