DHL: Celebrating Pride & Inclusion at Mighty Hoopla and Milkshake Festival

DHL’s partnership with Mighty Hoopla (London) and Milkshake Festival (Amsterdam) redefined what corporate allyship looks like within live events. As a global brand built on the promise of “connecting people, improving lives,” DHL transformed that mission into action by creating immersive, inclusive experiences celebrating LGBTQIA+ pride across two countries.

At Mighty Hoopla, DHL built a striking monolithic package installation where fans recorded heartfelt video messages of love and solidarity for attendees at Milkshake Festival. These messages, which were displayed on main stage screens at Mighty Hoopla and inside two hidden DHL “packages” at Milkshake, sparked real-time, cross-border connections between queer communities. DHL employees from its Pride Alliance staffed both activations, ensuring authenticity and genuine representation throughout.

The sponsorship went beyond visibility, raising £7,500 for Pink Noise, distributing 1,500 magazines to queer artists and fans, and delivering over 10,000 fan interactions and 1.2 million online impressions. The campaign’s fusion of creativity, inclusion, and purpose earned an estimated €445K in media value and deepened internal engagement, with 60 employees taking part in the activations.

More than a sponsorship, this was a celebration of unity, visibility, and community connection. DHL’s partnership with Mighty Hoopla and Milkshake demonstrated that equality and inclusion thrive when purpose meets participation, setting a new benchmark for inclusive, purpose-led brand engagement in the festival space.
