Danone GetPRO x London Marathon: Championing Progress in Running

In a category increasingly crowded with new competitors, GetPRO needed to be seen as a trusted ally for Britain’s 16 million exercise enthusiasts. As Official Partner across the UK’s most iconic running events, notably London Marathon but also including Brighton Marathon, The Big Half and the GetPRO Bath Half, the brand was visible at every step of the runner’s journey – from training to recovery.

Marathon running is about more than race day, it’s about the countless unseen hours that lead there and GetPRO’s partnership brought this truth to life, celebrating the “95%” of the journey that happens before and after the run.

From the GetPRO Truck energising finish lines to a nationwide Strava challenge inspiring everyday athletes, the brand met runners where they were – training, recovering, progressing. The campaign stretched from the streets to the supermarket, connecting physical effort with daily nutrition in a way that felt natural and useful.

By focusing on the moments outside of running, so often under-optimised and neglected by runners, GetPRO gave the running community more than protein – it gave them support and recognition for the work that often goes unnoticed. It was a partnership that made progress feel human, not heroic.
