Electric Ireland operates in a low interest but highly competitive price driven energy market where sponsorships are critical to drive brand differentiation. Electric Ireland harnessed its combined sponsorship of the Minor and Higher Education Championships to increase brand visibility and engage with existing and potential customers through their interest in GAA. With a competitive energy market and a cluttered GAA sponsorship environment, activation of the sponsorships had to be strategic and innovative to stand out and achieve business objectives whilst also increasing the profile of these tier two competitions.
