Wickes – Kits for Clubs

Wickes launched a nationwide community football programme that had a two-pronged approach. Firstly to improve and enhance community football at the grass roots level and secondly bring the Wickes business closer to local trade customers to demonstrate the benefits available to tradespeople when shopping at Wickes. In partnership with EFL, Wickes created the opportunity for tradespeople to win brand-new football kit and training equipment for their local 11 a-side team courtesy of Wickes. Over 200 community football clubs in the UK benefited from the scheme and Wickes local store and online sales saw an incremental revenue increase of over £5 million.
