In order to ensure Wickes is considered first over competitors (such as B&Q, Screwfix etc), we needed to create a unique business opportunity for trade businesses that would help Wickes to be favored over competitors. Through the EFL partnership, Wickes have targeted an audience of over 500,000 tradespeople who regularly attend or watch EFL matches to sign up to ‘Wickes TradePro’ – a rewards and benefits programme for tradespeople, giving them access to exclusive benefits to encourage spend. This has led to a significant sales increase in store/online for Wickes and a market leading business return of 17:1.
