We help brands use sport and entertainment as a marketing platform to create an emotional connection with their audiences and help them achieve their business and marketing objectives. We manage the process end to end, from developing the strategy, through to property sourcing, negotiation and high impact activation.
For rights owners, we advise them on the partnership sales proposition, assisting them to identify the most valuable assets, rights and benefits and provide a compelling proposition to take to target brands.
About the role:
We are hiring a Partnerships Marketing Executive to primarily work on our rights owner clients, supporting the Partnerships Manager with sales outreach, managing clients and the consulting area of our business.
The role will also offer wider support to the business – including general marketing & business development for the agency (e.g. creation of newsletters, website/LinkedIn stories, database management).
We work with a variety of sports rights owners, including triathlon, national governing bodies, charities, football, rugby league & union.
This is a new role as we are expanding our team, based on a run of new business wins. We are a small company, the opportunities to learn, develop and get stuck in, are endless.
The Role:
– In this role you will support the Partnerships Manager in securing sponsorship deals on behalf of our rights owner clients.
– You will be required to conduct research into prospective sponsors for our clients, identifying relevant contacts and rational reasons for target brands to engage.
– Keep all records on our database updated.
– You will also be required to develop sales materials on behalf of our clients, typically using templates and resources they have supplied (eg PPT, PDFs)
– You will be required to pro-actively prospect potential sponsors on behalf of clients across a range of categories and geographical regions, using email, telephone and LinkedIn to make the right connections.
– Support the wider team on ad hoc projects for our brand clients.
Essential Skills:
– Proven sales experience
– Good PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills
– Familiar with using CRM systems
– LinkedIn/social media skills
– Ability to analyse and use audience data and market insights
– Understanding of the sponsorship sector across sport and entertainment
– Sponsorship sales experience is preferred but not essential
– An interest and passion for sport would be advantageous!
