
Season 5 of the ABB Formula E Championship saw Shell partner with the Nissan e.dams Formula E team. Through the partnership Shell is developing energy and mobility solutions for electric vehicle drivers of the future.
Octagon has developed ‘Race for the Future,’ a campaign born from Shell’s commitment to find future-proof energy solutions.
The campaign was launched with a two-part content series called Future Thinkers. In it we see Kami and Edward, two young and curious ambassadors, get the chance to see first-hand how new technologies developed through the partnerships will shape their lives in the future.

In the first episode they go to the Berlin ePrix race to meet the Nissan e.dams racing team and learn more about this new partnership and the exciting new world of Formula E.
In the second episode Kami and Edward explore Shell’s technology centre in Hamburg where they meet Shell scientists, learn, and experiment with how e-fluids, electric charging and renewable energy solutions from Shell will help improve the driving experience for al EV drivers around the world.
Both episodes are now live on Shell’s and Nissan’s global motorsport social and digital channels.
