Purpose of Role:
To undertake tasks to deliver the firm’s commercial sponsorship activity as part of the Sponsorship Team. The team are responsible for the delivery of initiatives relating to the firm’s sponsorship of 1literary festivals as well as additional promotional partnerships. There will be the requirement for occasional weekend work depending upon the scheduling of the festivals as well as regular travel within the UK.
Responsibilities:
Assist with identifying new sponsorship opportunities and sponsorship partners, this will require the ability to seek out, develop and maintain strong relationships. Assist with delivery of the literary sponsorship programme and other sponsorship activities that the firm supports. This includes, but is not limited to:
– Take responsibility for smaller sponsorship projects and relationships
– Coordinate the briefing and development of sponsorship materials
– Maintain the literary sponsorship planning documents and database
– Liaise with internal support teams and external agencies
– Liaise with literary festivals and sponsorship contacts
– Ensure ongoing accuracy of the use of BG logos and sponsorship information on literary festival and other sponsorship partners websites
– Coordinate the shipping of sponsorship materials
– Monitor and record literary festival activity and leads
– Assist in the annual review of sponsorship activity
– Assist in the administration and the development of the Baillie Gifford Prize and Literary Sponsorship sub-group
– Coordinate internal communication regarding sponsorship activity and benefits for staff
– Assist with budget and invoice management
– Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
