Leading cycling travel and experiences brand Sportive Breaks will partner with the Tour of Britain’s new best young rider jersey this September.
With the race now a proven showcase for emerging talent, the white jersey is being introduced to the Tour for 2023. It will sit alongside the leader’s jersey, cottages.com points jersey, and king of the mountains jersey, and will be presented to the leading under-23 rider in September’s event.
Previous leading under-23 riders in Britain’s national Tour have included Tom Pidcock (2022), and Ethan Hayter (2021), while the likes of Simon Yates, Geraint Thomas, and Ian Stannard have all claimed the honour in the past.
Produced by Le Col, the Sportive Breaks best young rider jersey will be white, featuring the same patchwork-style pattern as used on the overall leader’s jersey that represents Britain’s vast countryside and fields when viewed from above.

The Tour of Britain 2023 will begin in Greater Manchester on Sunday 3 September and culminate eight stages later in South Wales (Sunday 10 September). Along the way the riders will race through Wrexham, East Riding of Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Suffolk, Essex, and Gloucestershire, creating an unforgettable sporting spectacle that is free for all to watch.
Sixteen of the world’s leading teams will fight for glory in the race, led by Tour de France champions Jumbo-Visma, home favourites INEOS Grenadiers and BORA-hansgrohe.
ITV4 will continue to broadcast live flag-to-flag coverage of every stage, as well as a daily highlights show, allowing fans in the UK to watch the action unfold wherever they are. International coverage will be available in over 150 countries courtesy of Eurosport and GCN+.
