The European Sponsorship Association is extremely proud to announce the results of the 2023 ESA Diploma.
The successful completion of the course by another 79 successful students (an increase of more than 50% on 2022) has taken the alumni total above 700 since the industry’s premier qualification was launched in 2012.
All will be invited to celebrate their success during the ESA Diploma Graduation Ceremony in London on 2 November.
Five Distinctions were achieved this year, two of them by students whose marks were exceptionally high: Christian Fizia, who takes the Top Student accolade, and Jacob Roach. Christian and Jacob shared the Top Set Brief award in recognition of their outstanding submissions.
In addition to the UK intake, there were 24 students from 10 other countries including a first Distinction recipient from Canada, reinforcing a growing trend for multinational markets recognising the unique value of the ESA Diploma.
All graduates will be eligible to use the prestigious Dip ESA suffix and to network with fellow accredited professionals among the ESA Diploma Alumni Society, launched in early 2022.
ESA Diploma Course Director, Peter Raymond, said: “My biggest congratulations to the Diploma Class of ’23 for an absolutely sterling set of results.
“While I normally don’t like to single out individuals, it would be wrong not to highlight the performance of our top two students, Christian and Jacob, whose performances were amongst the best we’ve ever witnessed in the 12-year history of the ESA Diploma.
“Also it is worth accolading our first-ever Canadian student, Alex, who secured an extremely praiseworthy Distinction.
“A year of high achievement all round, amongst a really enthusiastic and charismatic set of students who can all be optimistic about their future career prospects. Our industry remains in very safe hands.”
ESA Chair, Sophie Morris, added: “The 2023 cohort of ESA Diploma students have achieved a great set of results. I congratulate every one of them for their commitment to continued learning and their achievement on this course. I’m certain that they will all go forward and advance their careers in sponsorship with the knowledge, confidence and recognition that this qualification brings.
“We’re proud of the continued success of the ESA Diploma and the essential role it plays in the professional development of the sponsorship industry. I would recommend the course to anyone looking to progress a career in this exciting field.”
Enrolment for the 2024 ESA Diploma, which begins on 19 January, is now open with a £750 early bird discount (plus additional ESA member discounts) for those who sign up by 24 November 2023.
