CAA Sports, a division of leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), today announced an exclusive commercial agreement with two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua, in partnership with his 258 Group.
As part of the agreement, Freddie Cunningham joins the CAA Sports Talent Group as Head of Client Strategy. In this role, he will oversee Joshua’s commercial activities, spanning endorsements, speaking, publishing, and beyond, working in close collaboration with the 258 Group and its family office, with the aim of expanding into new international markets and opportunities. Based in London, Cunningham will also support athlete business development and strategic growth across the agency’s international roster, reporting into Roman Di Somma, CAA Sports’ Head of International Talent.

Recognised globally as one of the most accomplished heavyweights of his generation, Joshua is a two-time World Champion. He turned professional in 2013 following a standout amateur career, which culminated in a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games. He has since compiled a professional record of 29–4 and remains a leading figure in the division, with his next bout scheduled for July 25.
Outside the ring, Joshua and his 258 Group have built one of the most successful portfolios of businesses and interests in global sport, with strategic investments across technology, real estate, content production, health and performance. Joshua’s business interests, family office and in ring matters will continue to be overseen by his 258 Group, with communications managed by long term partners Soapbox, legal affairs handled by Level and promotional matters by Matchroom Boxing.
