2022-23 Graduation

2 November 2023 saw our eleventh and twelfth ESA Diploma Graduation celebrations kindly hosted by the newly opened Underbelly Boulevard in central London where ESA Chair, Sophie Morris and ESA Diploma Course Director, Peter Raymond were joined by Guest of Honour and Commercial Director of Team GB, Tim Ellerton, who presented the graduates with their certificates, some of whom had flown in from Barbados, Ireland, Italy and Switzerland.

2020-21 Graduation

On 25 April 2022 the recently reopened British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) hosted the ninth and tenth ESA Diploma Graduation celebrations, where ESA Chair, Andy Westlake presented diplomas to the Class of ’20 and ’21 graduates, some of whom had flown in from Germany, Ireland, Malta, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the USA.

2020-21 South African Graduation

3 February 2022, Higher Ground, St Stithians, Johannesburg saw 17 graduate from our 2020 and 2021 courses, including recipients from Cricket South Africa, Faces, MSC Sports, Openfield, V&A Waterfront and Vodacom. ESA Diploma Course Director, Peter Raymond joined Guest Speaker, Grant McEwan of MSC Sports to present the certificates. Our thanks to Flash Sponsorship, our ESA Diploma partners in South Africa who hosted this memorable day.

2019 Graduation

6 November 2019, the Courthouse Hotel Soho saw 53 graduate our eighth course, from across the UK, Ireland, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland and the USA. ESA Chair, Andy Westlake and ESA Diploma Course Director, Peter Raymond were joined by Guest of Honour and MD of the Cricket World Cup 2019, Steve Elworthy MBE, who presented the graduates with their certificates.

2018 Graduation

7 December 2018, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) played host to the seventh annual ESA Diploma Graduation ceremony, where we saw many of the 50 graduates presented with their diploma certificates by ex CEO of Sport England for 11 years, Jennie Price, CBE for services to sport in 2017.

2017 Graduation

30 November 2017 saw 57 graduate our sixth course, from across the UK, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Slovakia. ESA Chairman Andy Westlake and ESA Diploma Course Director Peter Raymond were joined by Guest of Honour and CEO of the British Paralympic Association, Tim Hollingsworth OBE, who presented the graduates with their certificates.

2016 Graduation

18 November 2016 saw 53 graduate this fifth course, from across the UK, mainland Europe, and further afield in Australia and South Africa. ESA Chairman Karen Earl and ESA Diploma Course Director Peter Raymond were joined by Guest of Honour ex-England and Olympic Men’s Hockey Captain, Ben Hawes, who presented the graduates with their certificates.

2015 Graduation

30 November 2015 saw a record 59 students from across the UK, mainland Europe, and as far afield as the US and Nigeria, presented with their diploma certificates by World Anti-Doping Agency President, Sir Craig Reedie, together with ESA Chairman Karen Earl and Course Director Peter Raymond.

2014 Graduation

2 December 2014 saw 52 students from across Europe, the UK, India and Qatar graduate the ESA Diploma course, which represents the sponsorship industry’s first-ever academic qualification.
With the seven-month distance learning diploma behind them, the students had great reason to celebrate, being the third year of graduates of this important industry qualification. ESA Vice-Chairman, Nigel Geach and Course Director Peter Raymond were joined by special guest Alan Pascoe MBE, who presented the graduates with their certificates.

2013 Graduation
2 December 2013 saw 48 students from across the UK and mainland Europe graduate. ESA Chairman, Karen Earl and Course Director Peter Raymond were joined by special guest Patrick Nally, widely regarded as the ‘forefather of sponsorship’, who presented the graduates with their certificates.
