The European Sponsorship Association and the Marketing Institute of Ireland are delighted to announce a new educational partnership aimed at promoting excellence across the Irish marketing community.
As part of the new partnership, ESA and MII will work together to promote the market-leading ESA Diploma in Sponsorship in Ireland in 2020.
A range of dedicated events and educational platforms have been tailored for the Irish Diploma in 2020.
The ESA Diploma is the foremost sponsorship educational course globally, offering tailored training to sponsorship and marketing professionals. Topics covered include sponsorship regulation, strategy and personality management, to activation, crisis management and research and evaluation techniques, equipping students with best-practice tools in a fast-evolving field.
Since launching in 2012, the ESA Diploma has become an essential qualification for those across the entire sponsorship spectrum, with more than 400 people having completed the course and gained the prestigious qualification, including 40 students from Ireland.
The Diploma course comprises in-depth learning materials, including many international case studies, seminars from influential sponsorship and partnership marketing experts, as well as an assessment process and a formal graduation ceremony.
Many of Europe’s leading sports and entertainment organisations trust the ESA Diploma with providing their staff with the necessary skills in sponsorship and sports marketing.
Previous Diploma graduates have come from AEG Europe, Arsenal Football Club, Barclays, British Olympic Association, City Football Group, Coca-Cola, EE, the European Tour, IMG, Lloyds Banking Group, Manchester United, PwC, the RBS, Samsung, Standard Chartered, Team Sky, Visa, and many more.
Representatives from more than 20 Irish companies have also completed the Diploma, including Arnotts, Atomic Sport, Electric Ireland, GAA, Liberty Insurance, Paralympics Ireland, Ulster Bank and Vodafone.
Ireland is a highly-accomplished sponsorship landscape – in 2019 alone, Irish companies won six categories at the ESA Awards, the European sponsorship industry’s most prestigious prize.
