Kelhem Salter (Major League Baseball) on MLB Softball60 and driving engagement in non-USA markets
Ruth Hooper (formerly of Nike)
Ruth Hooper has spent the last eight years at Nike as a senior marketer working in both the UK and across Europe. Her specialism is brand strategy; bringing creativity and commercial understanding to solving business problems. Her passion (verging on obsession) is for the consumer; always being driven to make the lives of consumers better.
Ruth has extensive experience of managing high profile campaigns, multi-million dollar budgets and diverse teams. In her last role at Nike she led the development & execution of the 2018 hit campaign, Nothing Beats a Londoner.
Ruth is no stranger to ESA events, having started her career within the sponsorship industry prior to going “client side”. She is now on a self-titled “sabbatical” before embarking on a new challenge in consultancy.
Kelhem Salter (Major League Baseball)
Kelhem spent six years working for the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. First, he developed and implemented London’s 2012 Olympic sports legacy program. Post-2012, he oversaw the Mayor’s investment in major sporting events in London, including the 2015 Rugby World Cup and the 2017 IAAF and IPC World Championships.
Since joining MLB in early 2017, Kelhem has focused on delivering a portfolio of events and programs aimed at building the league’s European brand – with a key focus on bringing regular season MLB games to London in 2019.
