Sherilyn Shackell, Founder & CEO of The Marketing Academy.
Sherilyn Shackell is the Founder & CEO of The Marketing Academy UK and Australia; a unique non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of leadership talent in the world of marketing, media & advertising. She is also a Director of Plant for Peace, an inspiring organisation bringing peace, food security and income to post conflict countries such as Afghanistan, through the creation of horticultural cooperatives, planting fruit trees as a sustainable alternative to drug crops.
Sherilyn spent 25 years as a Board level head-hunter, before selling her company in 2015, and also served eight years on the Global Board of IMD International Search Group.
A highly popular and engaging public speaker, Sherilyn is in demand as a business coach, delivering lessons in leadership as a licensed facilitator of the Living Leader Programme. Sherilyn writes on talent engagement and leadership development, with articles featuring in Sunday Times, FastCo, Telegraph, AdNews, Marketing Week, Marketing Magazine, Management Today and CMO.com.
