Be part of the biggest evening in our sponsorship calendar – the 2017 ESA Excellence Awards launches today with new categories and a call for judges
The European Sponsorship Association (ESA), the membership body that works to inspire, unite and grow the sponsorship industry across rights holders, brands and agencies, is now accepting entries for its prestigious 2017 ESA Excellence Awards.
The Awards will see industry professionals across Europe rewarded for their best-in-class sponsorship campaigns that have taken place in the last 18 months. A full list of the categories available to enter can be found on our website and at the end of this release.
“Every year we anticipate that the standard of the submitted campaigns can’t be any higher than the year before, and every year we’re astounded when the bar is raised” said Jackie Fast, 2017 ESA Excellence Awards Committee Chair. “I’m especially excited that we are building on our growing European attendance and supporting that growth by extending the evening to include an insight-leading event, free for all European Awards entrants, during the day – continuing to ensure that the ESA Excellence Awards not only recognises great work, but also becomes synonymous with winning business.”
The 2017 ESA Excellence Awards rewards successful sponsorship campaigns across all sectors – sport, culture, entertainment, digital, research, media, community and corporate responsibility – by assessing their business objectives and campaign results. The ESA Excellence Awards prides itself on great achievement, not just big budgets – ensuring that all campaigns, large and small, have an equal chance of winning. The early bird deadline for entries closes at midnight on 1st September 2017.
All campaigns receive the same expert critique and are judged purely on merit, against a comprehensive criteria-based matrix. Our esteemed judges bring insight, direction and robust evaluation to the judging programme. With a two stage process of judging both online and face-to-face, being an ESA Excellence Awards judge provides you with the opportunity to both witness and award Europe’s best sponsorship work for 2017.
Anyone interested in becoming an ESA Excellence Awards judge should complete the application form found in the Judges section of our website by Friday 4th August 2017.
