Chris Broadbent
Founder, Planet Earth Games
Chris Broadbent is Founder and CEO of the award-winning Planet Earth Games. Chris has worked in senior roles in media, marketing and event organising in multi-sport for 25 years including Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and Devon Youth Games. It was at the latter where he evolved the model into the Planet Earth Games, meeting young people’s concerns over the environment.
Planet Earth Games combines sport and climate action with a mission “To inspire people towards active and sustainable lifestyles through the power of sport and physical activity”. The event first launched as a series of virtual challenges in the pandemic and quickly reached an audience of 1.5m. Its education programme won at the 2022 British Sustainable Sports Awards.
Victoria Chapman
Head of Sustainability (UK&I), Live Nation
Victoria is Head of Sustainability (UK & Ireland) at Live Nation. She works with Festival Republic, Academy Music Group and others in the Live Nation family to implement Green Nation, Live Nation’s sustainability charter. Victoria previously worked as Sustainability Coordinator at Festival Republic since 2016 and was recognised as a Creative Green Champion by Julie’s Bicycle for her work embedding sustainability across major UK music festivals. She is a Creative Climate Leader alumni and sits on the steering group of Vision 2025 & Powerful Thinking, previously co-chairing the Live Green Environmental Sustainability Working Group.
Dean Hardman
Director of Sport and Student Experience, Association of Colleges
Dean joined the Association of Colleges as Director of Sport and Student Experience in February 2020, having previously worked as Head of Commercial and Member Engagement and a number of other senior roles at England Athletics for the previous 6 years.
His current role encompasses overseeing AoC Sport, a subsidiary of the AoC, as the managing director and also leading on the wider student experience.
Earlier in his career he worked as a senior lecturer in linguistics at Nottingham Trent University, having been awarded a PhD in English Studies by the University of Nottingham.
Daniel Urquhart
Insight Director, MKTG Sports + Entertainment
Dan joined the MKTG Insight team in 2022 and leads a range of client projects from measurement of Jaguar Racing’s involvement in Formula E to providing a range of valuation and insight services for Hilton and Jaguar Land Rover. Prior to that he was an Insight Director in-house at Formula E where he was responsible for team and partner reporting, providing insight to support new partner conversations and leading on operational decisions such as the optimal race calendar and race start times to maximise the reach of the Championship. Dan also has extensive agency experience, previously working for a combined 7 years at Havas Sport & Entertainment and Wasserman and has worked for major brands such as Microsoft, Bacardi and Puma and rights-holders such as FIFA, Golden State Warriors and Basketball England.
