Shaw to lead Octagon’s creative, planning, strategy, and production teams across the region
Octagon, the leading global creative agency in sport and entertainment, has announced the elevation of Ryan Shaw to Executive Creative Director. In the role, Shaw will oversee the creative, planning, strategy, and production output in the UK, as well as provide support to the agency’s key European clients. Shaw will report directly to Joel Seymour-Hyde, Managing Director, Octagon UK.
Shaw will lead a dynamic creative team, which has produced award-winning creative campaigns for clients, including Cisco, Mastercard, Expedia, Paddy Power, and many more. Overseeing Octagon’s efforts to push creative and innovative ideas, Shaw will be supported by a powerhouse team of some of the creative industry’s most visionary minds, elevating some of the world’s most revered brands as well as sports and entertainment properties.

Prior to his role as ECD, Shaw served as Creative Director since 2018, during which time he has been integral to a number of new business wins and has produced some of the agency’s most successful campaigns, including Cisco’s “Connected Scarf,” Expedia’s “With You All The Way,” Chivas’ “Regal FC,” and Sipsmith’s “Swancierge.” Previously, Shaw served as Creative Director for White Label, and The Bank Agency.
