The date for Royal Bank of Canada V Series, London’s inter-company team cycling challenge, is confirmed for Thursday 15th September 2016. The event which was created by Limelight Sports will once again take place in Canary Wharf.
Last year, Canary Wharf was transformed into an arena for a high-energy Italian Team Pursuit cycling race – Royal Bank of Canada V Series. Corporate teams, each made up of eight riders and representing different companies, compete against each other around a 1km circuit on closed roads, providing a fantastic spectacle in a truly unique venue. Last year, Team Royal Bikers of Canada (a team from Royal Bank of Canada) triumphed over Pure Sports Medicine. At the finals teams competed against each other in heats. Each race involved two teams competing head-to-head on the course with the fastest four teams qualifying for the finals.
Royal Bank of Canada V Series is the pursuit of sporting and business excellence, bringing together premium-networking, team building, cycling in the heart of London business district, Canary Wharf.
Shane Sutton (OBE), Performance Advisor: “The 2015 event was incredible. We saw individuals come together, in some difficult conditions, to work as a unit and for those that embraced the spirit of pursuit riding they found success regardless of their team’s final position. Having a competition like this, where riders have different roles and strengths is what makes this event so compelling. I can’t wait to be part of the next event!”
