The second Belgrade SPORTO Brunch will take place on Friday, May 8th 2015 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Serbian capital. Join us and learn more about the sponsorship experiences of brands and communication and activities of sports properties from the region.
Few sports clubs from this part of the world have made such a big international impact as the Croatian ice hockey club KHL Medveščak from Zagreb. Ranko Vučinić, who oversees the communications for the Russian KHL league club that is known for their extraordinary success in engagement of fans and leaving legacy in broader society will tell us more about the #TogetherWeAre campaign that connects the club’s communication on social networks (and beyond). The presentation will also refer to two important projects with a social note: Pink Bears (in cooperation with Podravka) against breast cancer and #NoseForCause, helping secure meals for underprivileged kids in schools.
No less successful on and off court is in recent years the Serbian basketball powerhouse KK Crvena zvezda Telekom that has established itself as one of Europe’s premier clubs with a huge following and a very detailed marketing plan. Filip Sunturlić, KK Crvena zvezda’s Marketing Director, will talk about some of the reasons behind its success and also about »One Team« CSR campaign (in cooperation with Euroleague and Special Olympics Serbia and partners Telekom Srbije and Idea).
Saša Ćirić. Marketing Director of Frikom company will tell the attendee’s (over 30 have confirmed already) their experience from the partnership with Serbian Olympic Committee, Serbian Football and Basketball Association. How can a company, specialised in ice cream and frozen product, successfully use sponsorship rights for co-branding products and for engagement of their target group?
The last formal part of Friday’s event (followed by networking) will be a panel discussion about the challenges and potentials for sports properties and sponsors in today’s very competitive market. The panellists will be from the sponsors and organisers of the Belgrade marathon – among them are Uniqa and Coca-Cola.
