Mobile Gaming Group appoints Synergy to handle rugby sponsorship
LeoVegas is the latest brand to join the Synergy roster as the sports and entertainment marketing agency came through a competitive brief to activate the gaming brand’s sponsorship of one of the world’s most successful rugby clubs, Leicester Tigers.
The partnership will see Synergy take over all rugby-related press office responsibility on behalf of LeoVegas in its bid to become the sportsbook of choice for rugby fans. As well as delivering digital content, Synergy’s approach will include a media relations campaign with education and external link-building at the core to bring betting to the forefront of the rugby fan’s mind.
LeoVegas.com has a three-year deal which will include the online casino and sportsbook’s brand logo on the Tigers’ team shorts until 2019 as well as on adult replica shorts for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons.
The deal with Tigers shows a significant investment for the brand and will allow LeoVegas to spread awareness through visibility on TV during live and highlights broadcasts, helping to cement the brand as a major player in the rugby sports betting market.
