International sports and entertainment marketing specialist Synergy has been appointed by Beko to activate its sponsorship of FC Barcelona following a competitive pitch.
Since the appointment, Synergy have developed and created an integrated PR, digital and experiential campaign that will be co-ordinated across key Beko markets around the world from Synergy’s London office.
The ‘Official Partner of Play’ campaign – launched earlier this month – celebrates FC Barcelona as the most playful team on the planet, as well as communicating that Beko’s product range allows people more time to ‘play’ within their busy lives. At the heart of the campaign are playful animations of FC Barcelona stars including Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Neymar Jr and Gerard Piqué. The animated players will appear in advertising, in store, in-stadia, real-time social media, on digital channels and in the media over the coming months. The campaign will also increase opportunities to play by featuring money-can’t-buy opportunities for fans, including the chance to play football at Camp Nou.
Home appliance brand Beko is a Premium Partner of FC Barcelona and is into the second year of a four-year deal with the reigning European and Spanish champions.
