Lightroom is London’s new home for spectacular immersive storytelling.
Lightroom crowns the cultural and commercial hub of the King’s Cross and Coal Drops Yard development – one of London’s most dynamic new neighbourhoods.
Here, revolutionary projection technology and theatrical design combine to create an unprecedented immersive experience.
This is a venue unlike any other, featuring collaborations with artists, musicians, icons and storytellers with the authenticity of creation at its core.
Lightroom’s next show will be VOGUE: Inventing the Runway.
Following exhibitions with David Hockney, Tom Hanks and NASA, this stunning collaboration with Vogue and Condé Nast opens on 24th October 2024 and runs to Spring 2025.
The exhibition space is vast – four storeys high and the size of two tennis courts. More than 300 people can fit into this space, yet the atmosphere is both intimate and informal.
This incredible immersive show takes the runway show as the ultimate expression of the designer’s vision, and in 50 minutes takes us from the private, closed couture shows of the 1950s, to today’s spectacular shows where social media is an integral part of the experience. The list of participating designers and houses is extraordinary, and includes:
Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Balenciaga, Burberry, Chanel, Chloé, Christian Dior, Christopher John Rogers, Comme des Garçons, Coperni, Courrèges, Dolce & Gabbana, Dries Van Noten, Elena Velez, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Gypsy Sport, Hood by Air, Hussein Chalayan, Imitation of Christ, Iris Van Herpen, Jacquemus, Jean Paul Gaultier, Junya Watanabe, JW Anderson, Louis Vuitton, Maison Margiela, Marc Jacobs, Martine Rose, Missoni, Miu Miu, Moschino, Patou, Prada, Pyer Moss, Rick Owens, Schiaparelli, Stella McCartney, Thierry Mugler, Thom Browne, Tomo Koizumi, Undercover, Versace, Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood, Willy Chavarria and Yohji Yamamoto.
This is an exciting chance to align with one of the great fashion media brands in the world, in an immersive show of extraordinary creativity. Sponsorship opportunities range from headline sponsorship to one-off exclusive corporate hires.
“At Vogue we’ve been lucky enough over the decades to see many incredible runway shows, which have often told the story of fashion as much as the clothes themselves,” said Anna Wintour, Chief Content Officer, Condé Nast, and Global Editorial Director, Vogue.
“This Lightroom experience is a wonderful opportunity for a lot more people to experience first-hand the thrill of watching the history of fashion unfold right in front of them.”
