The European Sponsorship Association (ESA), the sponsorship industry’s membership collective, has announced its 2019 ESA Awards partnership with POWA index – the data-driven, real-time sports sponsorship valuation engine.
Now in its 12th year, the ESA Awards were created by ESA, the membership body that seeks to inspire, unite and grow the sponsorship industry across rights holders, brands and agencies, to celebrate the best campaigns right across Europe.
Jackie Fast, Chairman of the ESA Awards Committee said:
The ESA Awards continues to spearhead the exciting changes to the sponsorship industry throughout Europe and to reward outstanding effort. We’re thrilled to announce the ESA Awards’ partnership with POWA index, a tool designed to assist sponsors in identifying the teams, events and competitions that will deliver on their brand objectives.”
Michael Flynn, CEO of DataPOWA and Commissioner of the POWA index commented:
We have developed the POWA index to be the sponsorship scout for the sports industry and help our users concentrate on big picture thinking. We want to be a progressive force in sponsorship, so it is a privilege to be working with ESA as they have done so much to drive the industry forward.
The beauty of data analytics is that if it is used well it becomes a springboard for creativity. I look forward to seeing that blend of data-driven rigour and creative flair when judging the entries in this outstanding year for sport and entertainment.”
The ESA Awards showcases the best in class through innovative, thought provoking and memorable sponsorship campaigns. The awards include ESA Best of Europe and ESA Sponsorship of the Year, as well as sector-focused categories such as the Arts & Culture Sponsorship award.
Winners of the 2019 ESA Awards will be announced at the prestigious ceremony to be held at London’s famous Café de Paris on the evening of 28th February 2019.
