Thorben Jeß will join the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) as Vice President of Global Partnerships for Germany on 1 September 2025. He will be responsible for managing the company’s entire sponsorship, premium sales and activation business in Germany. This includes all commercial partnerships for the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, the Uber Arena, the Uber Platz, and the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, as well as well as Eisbären, the 11-time DEL Championship team.

Mr. Jeß joins AEG from sports rights agency SPORTFIVE, where he has worked for the past nine years, first as Executive Director and most recently as Vice President. He managed the Hertha BSC team, the Northeast region and the HUB Berlin in the Regional & Team Sales division, among other things. This marks a return to AEG for Jeß, who previously led the Global Partnership Team at the Barclays Arena from 2009 to 2016.
