Job Purpose:
Working for Digital Sports MGMT, part of the YMU group, the main purpose of this role is working as an Account Manager on key Marketing and Gaming accounts, leading the day to day planning of Marketing campaigns, liaise with key brand and rights holder clients, organising, project managing and activating partnerships, keep projects on track and generally pushing forward all elements of the accounts. You will also liaise with influencers, broadcast talent, sports personalities, and work across various gaming production events from time to time helping activate and plan campaigns.
Reports to:
Head of Client Services, Sports & Gaming
Key Responsibilities:
Day to day account management of key accounts
Campaign and Marketing planning
Build and manage client’s marketing strategy on accounts
Activation of partnerships assets for key clients
Run PR and Influencer campaigns as required
Project tracking and reporting
Manage 1x direct report (Account Executive)
Assist on DSM’s management of key Gaming & Esports clients
Liaise with DSM’s Esports & Production Manager on key Production projects
About You:
Excellent Communication skills
At least four (years) of experience, working in an account management or exec role, partnerships, influencer marking, or sports marketing role
Experience supporting or running activations for brands or rightsholders
Excellent knowledge of partnerships activation, social campaigns and general marketing
Understanding of esports & gaming
Previous work in sports and/or dealing with sports rightsholders is highly desired.
Knowledge of sports commercial rights packages is desired
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working with talent desired
Experience working with media in a PR capacity desired
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks
Superb attention to detail
Experience managing direct reports desired
