Business Development Executive – Nielsen Sports
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team within our London office. You will report to the Business Development Director and support the sales process alongside senior team members and you will also work with the wider team on the production and delivery of projects for clients.
You will look after the
Responsible driving revenue and new business within a designated list of accounts
• Identify and qualify opportunities and grow sales from marketing leads
• Support the Business Development Director in building strategic sales opportunities
• Conduct sales prospecting and hunting such as cold calling, presentations, request for proposal, and out of the box sales solutions
• Cultivate influential relationships with brands, agency contacts and rights holders to gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide Nielsen solutions for their business goals.
• Work with Account Managers and other internal departments to ensure sold proposals are implemented and aligned with client expectations.
You will bring to the role
• You have a proven record in enterprise sales experience
• You will be able to build strong and strategic relationship building with clients
• You are an exceptional communicator with strong presentation skills
• You are numerically proficient and experience in working with data
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
• Interest and passion about selling to the Sports & Entertainment industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google based technology with the capacity to learn other bespoke database systems
• Knowledge of SalesForce is a plus
