Description
Sport Science Agency (SSA) is looking for a communications and content lead who can take ownership of our content marketing activities, including press and media relations. The role will include taking responsibility for social strategy, PR and content development, and ownership of social accounts across SSA and client channels. The role will report to the directors of SSA.
Responsibilities
Strategy
• Develop a coordinated and integrated communications, content and social media strategy for SSA and SSA clients.
• Support marketing strategy development and ensure integration across communications, social and content strategy.
• Manage external PR and Communications activity to meet the demands of SSA clients.
Social media
• Manage and develop SSA social channels and those of SSA clients when required.
• Develop a strategic plan for organic and paid social media content.
• Create bespoke and engaging content for use across various social media channels.
• Utilise analytics to ensure an insight-led approach to content across available channels.
Content – written
• Lead on written content development to ensure consistent tone of voice, language and messaging
• This includes:
Creating content plans for clients and SSA
Creating blogs for clients and SSA
Developing SSA case studies
Coordinating and leading interviews and write-ups
Editing research reviews for content quality and purpose
Content – other
• Manage the process of creating video and imagery
Press Relations
• Contribute to the creation and delivery of compelling external communications and activations to meet the demands of SSA and SSA clients
• This includes:
Development and selling in of press releases
Media engagement and relations where required.
Support spokespeople for both reactive and proactive media opportunities.
Stakeholder management
• Account management and reporting to clients
New business development
• Proposal creation and input
• Meetings (support)
• Introductions (where appropriate)
Analysis
• Analysis and reporting of SSA’s communications and content activities
