We are a young tech startup developing and selling the digital sponsorship management system SponsoRights. Our actual clients are professional sports clubs in all team sports such as football, handball, ice hockey, basketball, and volleyball in Germany and the German-speaking EU region.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and sports-enthusiastic
Head of Sales United Kingdom (all genders) Full-time
Your Responsibilities:
• Establishing the sales structure and raising awareness of SponsoRights in the United Kingdom.
• Strategic acquisition of new customers and development of long-term business relationships in the B2B sector
• Independently managing the entire sales process from lead generation to initial contact to deal closing
• Convincing presentation and demo of our SaaS solution via video call, tailored to the specific challenges and pain points of the customers
• Preparing offers and conducting contract negotiations
• Actively maintaining and expanding the sales territory in the Netherlands and Belgium
• Developing and implementing suitable sales strategies to continuously improve our sales processes
• Identifying new business opportunities and market trends
• Close collaboration with the Customer Success team and product development to optimize our SaaS solution and customer experience
What Sets You Apart:
• At least 3-5 years of sales experience with a professional sports club in the United Kingdom or with a service provider in the sports industry
• Extensive sports business network in the target market with direct access to the marketing managers and decision-makers of the clubs
• Strong digital affinity and a basic technical understanding
• Fluent German skills are advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Negotiation skills and the ability to communicate at the C-level
• Positive, open demeanour in working with customers, service providers, and colleagues
• A healthy “hands-on mentality” and a corresponding level of resilience and commitment
• Reliable, independent, structured, and team-oriented working style
• High affinity and great interest in professional sports
• Proficient in common Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
