Great opportunity for an Insight Executive/Analyst to take the next step to executive level in a rapidly expanding team where insight and evaluation takes a major role.
ABOUT YOU
You have 1-2 years’ experience (including sandwich year) working with data and insights preferably in a sports and entertainment environment – be it exposure analysis or market research, or better still both. Fundamentally you are looking to widen your knowledge and experience within the sector. You must love working with data and have the expertise for analysis but critically it is the curiosity to draw insight from the data that is crucial. You think outside the box and are always looking for new ways to help our clients visualize and use the data.
THE ROLE
You will be working within the MKTG S+E Team who implement sponsorships mostly in the sports sector but also across other entertainment activities. The role is global with a focus on EMEA. The insight executive will work alongside the Insight Director and Manager working across a diverse mix of continuous and ad hoc projects – supporting pitches & proposals as well as evaluating some of the leading sponsorships and events in the marketplace – in the UK and globally. Attention to detail across multiple projects in a fast pace environment is essential to provide a best in class service to internal and external clients
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• A focus on research, intelligence and evaluation working with the insight and wider MKTG S+E team to deliver key insights to support proposals and client work.
• An understanding of digital metrics and social listening.
• Always eager to look at new sources to provide best in class analysis
• Supporting on setting up and analysis market research surveys.
• Compiling broadcast data from multiple sources
• Eager to deliver high quality, measurable, effective work and reconciling these projects in line with our Charter of Excellence.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
We want someone who is driven to provide the best and wants to take their career further. The must haves are:
• A love of sports and entertainment
• Great numeracy skills, a love of data and the curiosity to want to know why.
• Excellent excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Experience of building and populating online dashboards e.g., tableau
• Good time management skills.
• A passion for undertaking market intelligence and competitor analyses with the sports, entertainment and events industry.
• Ability to analyse TV and social brand exposure and draw insights
• An understanding of the sports and sponsorship marketplace
