An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated candidate to work within the commercial department of the Legends Tour as a Partnerships & Sales Executive. This role will provide support for both the Head of Tour, Business Development and the Senior Partnerships & Sales Manager across the full sponsorship sales process and assist with the service and delivery all contractual obligations for partners and suppliers.

Location: Office at Wentworth Golf Club, Surrey, England, with a hybrid home working policy
Department Description
The Commercial team has the primary objective of generating revenue through the development and retention of partnerships. The Commercial team works closely with the Marketing, Digital, Operations and Events teams to bring commercial relationships to life both on and off the course.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparing & delivering presentations/propositions
· Reporting & monitoring
· New business outreach
· Developing relevant sales prospect lists by local & global industry segments
· Partnership & relationship management
· Working with internal stakeholders to ensure all relevant sale information is available & updated for partnership sales pitches
· Developing case studies across a range of partner objectives to aid future commercial sales
· Work as part of a dynamic team, assisting as required according to team priorities & workload
· Taking onboard ad hoc projects as & when required
Experience
· Minimum 1 years’ experience in a sales, partnerships and/or research role, preferably within the sports industry
· Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment
· Confident proposal & presentation development
· Outbound lead generation
· Engaging with C Suite executives & high net worth individuals
Skills & Qualifications
· Be a team player who can excel working in a small team with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude
· Positive mindset & open to learning new skills & systems
· Self-starter with a keen interest to progress within the Sponsorship industry
· Strong research skills & strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
· Capable of performing well under pressure
· Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft office, notably PowerPoint & Excel
· Intermediate level of CRM management such as Salesforce or Monday.com etc.
· Strong communication & interpersonal skills, both internally & externally
· A willingness to learn & support the team in all areas from administrative to strategic
· An understanding of brand dynamics and consumer trends a distinct advantage
· A passion or empathy with sport/sports entertainment
Desirable:
· Awareness of golf and the golf industry is an advantage
· Second language a plus
