Social Media Manager: MKTG Sports + Entertainment
Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager working closely with the Head of Content you will craft and execute content for a variety of partners. You’ll be tasked with ensuring that content meets objective around reaching and engaging with sports fans across the globe.
Coupled with working with our data & insights team, you will also be required to report on performance of content and make recommendations based on these findings.
You’ll be comfortable communicating with clients and working closely with team members from departments including client support and production.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll take a hands-on stance in the development and execution of content for a range of our partners whilst relishing the challenge of working with our clients to help bring their partnerships to life with engaging content activated across social media and beyond.
Candidate Profile
You are excited by the prospect of bringing to life a range of sports partnerships and are passionate about delivering brilliant content for clients.
You have a deep understanding of the social media landscape with knowledge of the benefits and limitations of each platform.
You take pride in your work, thrive in delivering projects and are equally comfortable with the strategic thinking needed to develop content-powered campaigns as you are with the creative elements.
You also thrive under pressure, enjoy working on sports/events and like to be part of a close-knit team.
To be able to deliver this we need you to have:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing either agency side, client side or with a rights holder.
• A strong track record of managing social media accounts for brands including branded content campaigns in sport.
• A history of making big moments come to life in social media with a great instinct for what resonates with global audiences
• A love of sports and deep understanding around at least 3 of the following: Football, Cricket, Rugby, Golf, Tennis and Motor Racing.
