JOB TITLE: Sponsorship Sales Manager
LOCATION: Home Based
REPORTS TO: Managing Partner
DURATION: 3 Month Freelance Contract – minimum three-days per week
SALARY: Competitive (depending on experience)
Job summary:
The role will:
• Support on all agreed sponsorship sales targets for clients:
o Making initial approaches to an agreed target list
o Establish meetings (virtual) with prospective sponsorship targets and represent the sponsorship sales client (and Orchard Connects/BDS Sponsorship) at initial stages of the sales process
• Develop and implement the sales plans for all Orchard Connects/BDS existing sponsorship sales clients and any new sales clients onboarded during the contract period. Current sponsorship sales clients include:
o Glamorgan Cricket Club
o Coventry City Council
o National Forest
o Kids Rights
• Develop robust and appropriate target lists that are established for each sponsorship sales client, prospecting and maintaining a quality sponsorship sales pipeline. Ensure all progress is logged appropriately on the sales pipeline.
• Where necessary manage day to day relationships with each sponsorship sales client, ensuring regular updates are provided, appropriate sign-off on materials, questions etc are sought and recorded and expectations are professionally managed.
• Provide regular status updates to the Senior Team and Project Lead on all sales projects.
• Stay abreast of progress, latest news and industry trends across the sponsorship sector.
• Where possible, develop and sell new business client opportunities for Orchard Connects/BDS and Orchard Media

Personal attributes required:
• Are you self-motivated, a good communicator and people oriented as well as results oriented?
• Educated to degree level
• At least 3 years’ marketing/ sponsorship/commercial experience
• Demonstrable experience of securing sales
• An ability to manage multiple projects with two or more stakeholders using a collaborative and professional approach and to operate well under pressure
• An ability to work independently (this is a remote role) but also communicate well with your team
• Should be able to organise your workload and time: to work flexibly, to work to tight deadlines and to complete tasks
