What you will be doing
We are looking for a leader to head up and drive transformational growth for Dentsu Sports Analytics (DSA) in EMEA. The purpose of this role is to set the strategic direction of the team, taking ownership of the overall vision and driving real commercial growth in both traditional research and analytics services, as well as also innovative fan, CXM and ROI/performance analytics services. This role will liaise with other MKTG S+E EMEA divisions and the global DSA team, to ensure an integrated approach/roadmap.
The difference you’ll make
Develop and build a business plan for the EMEA Dentsu Sports Analytics team whilst aligning with the MKTG S+E pillars and the global Dentsu Sports Analytics Team.
Keep up to date with relevant new methodologies and platforms which can enhance our client offering.
Lead the way in planning marketing and communications to drive profile of the business and growing business opportunities.
Lead, own and direct the client relationship for large/complex projects, preparing proposals and costings.
Be accountable for the team setting timelines, expectations, and meeting deadlines.
Act as a mentor and coach to your team, to help them develop in their role and career, promoting an inclusive environment where everyone’s voice can be heard.
Requirements
10-15 years’ experience and experience in the world of performance marketing and world of 1 to 1 audience targeting
A commercial growth mindset and background as well rather than a pure practitioner.
An excellent understanding of the sport & entertainment and commercial landscape
Gravitas and professionalism to engage at a senior level across clients and prospects
It would also be nice for you to have
Ability to conceptualise, articulate, and package ideas that are clear and strategically sound.
Affinity to work collaboratively, influencing key stakeholders and managing relationships across the organisation.

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements.
