ESA Arts Sponsorship Certificate 2017 course sees 12 students graduate
The European Sponsorship Association (ESA), the membership body that raises standards within the sponsorship profession and charity and fundraising innovator Cause4, along with the Arts Council England-funded Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Programme, congratulates its ESA Arts Sponsorship Certificate graduates.
The 2017 arts sponsorship cohort saw a total of 12 students graduate, with three achieving the grade of Distinction and five gaining Commendation.
Peter Raymond, Course Director, said
I’m thrilled to see the excellent results from this year’s Certificate group. Three Distinctions is the most we’ve ever awarded in one year and was extremely well deserved for such a diverse, enthusiastic and likeable group. I have no doubt that they’ve all learned an enormous amount and look forward to hearing about their successes as they put their newly acquired sponsorship knowledge into action.
It’s clearer than ever that the arts and culture industry needs this course to help train people to take advantage of the many commercial opportunities that are available in today’s competitive marketplace.”
Michelle Wright, Cause4, said
It is tremendous to see this strong set of results from ESA candidates. A commercial mindset and the ability to engage corporates in the work of arts and cultural organisations is an essential part of the fundraising mix. Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy has been delighted to collaborate with ESA on this important accredited qualification which brings the most up to date knowledge about raising commercial funding into the arts and cultural sector.”
ESA Arts Sponsorship Certificate courses are held annually in September. Enrol now, or visit here for further details.
