The European Sponsorship Association, the membership body that aims to inspire, unite and grow a welcoming and diverse sponsorship industry, is delighted to announce the next ESA Diploma course commencing in January 2022. This marks the start of the Diploma’s second decade, having qualified nearly 600 practitioners in its first ten years of progressive growth.
Earning a reputation as the industry’s most coveted qualification, the ESA Diploma is widely recognised as a rite of passage for anyone wishing to improve their knowledge and greatly enhance their career prospects in sponsorship and sports marketing. It enters its next decade having just achieved a record course intake: 106 students from 15 different countries registered in 2021.
Several elements of the ESA Diploma are being upgraded and improved to mark the start of its new decade and ensure that the course covers all aspects of the ever-evolving sponsorship marketplace and provides a memorable and formative experience. Content will include updated, comprehensive study notes and source materials, stimulating seminars, a rigorous assessment process (including a live project – 2021’s involved devising a sales strategy to build Extreme E’s commercial revenue) and a range of networking opportunities – a stellar combination unrivalled by any other sponsorship-related course in the world.
To further cement the Diploma’s progressive reputation, ESA is celebrating the start of its second decade by launching the ESA Diploma Scholarship, created to help grow the diversity of the sponsorship industry by offering one applicant a place on the 2022 ESA Diploma course. We believe that together we can create an industry-wide movement that promotes an inclusive approach to dialogue and thought leadership, welcoming diverse perspectives and allowing each of us to be ourselves, while shaping the future of international sponsorship – see here for more information.
